1. Junior Research fellow : 09 posts
2. Field Assistant : 05 posts
Age Limit: Candidates age should be Upper age limit for Junior Research Fellow 28 years and Field Assistant 25 years as on Is’ June, 2016. Relaxable up to 5 years in the case a candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes, Women, Physically Handicapped and 3 years for OBC applicants.
Educational Qualification:
For Junior Research fellow: Candidates should have completed First Class M.Sc. in Forestry! Agriculture/Biotechnology/Botany.
Desirable Qualification: Experience in field work. Research experience related to subject area relevant to the project. Working knowledge of computer (MS office etc.) National Eligibility Test (UGC/CSIR/ICAR) qualified candidate will beziven preference.
For Field Assistant : First Class B.Sc. with Forestry/ Botany/Biotechnology as one of the subject.
Desirable Qualification: Experience of field work. Laboratory experience in handling and processing of plant samples for analysis / estimation. Basic knowledge of computer.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Interview conducted by Tropical Forest Research Institute.
Pay Scale: Rs. 12000 For JRF, Rs. 7000 for Field Assistant.

Eligible interested candidates are required to appear for walk-in interview for Junior Research Fellows on 14/07/2016 at 10:00 AM on wards and for Field Assistant on 15/07/2016 at 10:00 AM on wards in the Office of the Director along with their applications giving full bio-data including address for communication with attested copies of degree certificates and one passport size photograph etc. which may be produced at the time of interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
