About of SAI : 

The Sports Authority of India (SAI), a successor organization of the IXth Asian Games held in New Delhi in 1982. It is also entrusted with the responsibility of maintaining and utilizing, on the behalf of Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, the following Stadia in Delhi which were constructed/renovated for the IX Asian Games held in New Delhi in 1982. Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports (Department of Sports), Government of India proposes to engage following staff for National Sports Development Fund (NSDF) under Department of sports on contractual basis:

Should be below 60 years of age. However. in exceptional cases, the Committee constituted by the Govt.of lndia may take a decision based on credentials of the coach, if the age exceeds 60 years.

Educational Qualification:

Physiotherapist : Master in Sports Physiotherapy(MSPT)/Master in Physiotherapy (ORTHO) + 8 years of work Experience in the relevant field.

Doctor : MBBS+MD(Sports Medicine) + 5 years of work experience post MD(Sports Medicine) OR MBBS+DSM+ 8 years of work experience post DSM.

Nutritionist : Masters in Sports Nutrition/Foods& Nutrition/Nutrition& Dieticians + 8 years of work experience in
the relevant field.

Experience :

  • Should have played at National/Continent level such as Asian/European / World championships or Asian [Olympic Games.
  • Should have trained the Junior National team or Senior National teams of their country for at least 3-5 years.
  • Should have produced medal winning athletes at the level of Continental/Asian/World/Olympics or other major international competitions. (Names of the athletes to be mentioned in the Curriculum Vitae).
  • Should be physically fit to demonstrate the technique to the athletes while imparting training.
  • Details of last 03 assignments mentioning nature of engagement, job profile, salary and remuneration.
