The National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis [Formerly Tuberculosis Research Centre (TRC)], a permanent institute under the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), is an internationally recognized institution for Tuberculosis (TB) research. The Centre also has a strong statistics department which supports the various controlled clinical trials of the centre.

Age limit:

Candidates age should be 30 years Age relaxation as per GOI Rules.

Educational Qualification:

Project Technical Officer : Graduate in Social Science / Public Health / Psychology from a recognized University with 5 years’ work experience from a recognized institution OR Master’s degree in relevant subject.

Project Assistant : Graduate in Statistics from recognised university with 3 years of work experience from a recognised Institution OR Master’s degree in Statistics.

Project Technician III / Field Work : 12th pass in Science subjects plus 2 years field experience in Government recognized organization. B Sc degree shall be treated as 3 years’ experience.

Selection Process of recruitment :
Selection will be made on the basis of Interview.

Application must be accompanied by non‐refundable processing fee of Rs.100/‐ (Rupees One Hundred Only) in the shape of demand draft from any nationalized Bank in favour of Director, NIRT, Chennai.
