Age limit:

Candidates age should be 40 years for men and 45 years for women for RA, 35 years for men and 40 years for women for SRF, Research Asst, 30 years for men and 35 years for women for JRF, 21 to 45 years for Young Professional-I & Young Professional-II, 18 – 45 years for Lab Asst & Office Asst. Age relaxation is applicable to SC/ ST/ OBC and PHC as per GOI/ ICAR rules.

Educational Qualification:

For Research Assistant : Ph.D degree in any one of discipline/ subject Animal Sciences/ Chemistry/Biochemistry/ Life Sciences supported by thesis work or research papers. OR M.Sc/M.V.Sc. degree in any one of above discipline/ subject Animal Sciences with two years of research experience.

For Young Professional-II : B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology /Electronics & Communication Engineering or MCA.

For JRF : Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science with NET qualification or Graduate Degree in Professional Course with NET qualification or Post Graduate in Professional Course.

For SRF : M.V.Sc/M.Sc degree in any one of discipline/ Subject Animal Biotechnology/ Animal Biochemistry/ Life Sciences with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree should have NET qualification/ Experience in FACS operation.

Educational Qualification for NDRI Vacancy:

For SRF : Candidates should have completed M.V.Sc/ degree in Animal Reproduction, Gynaecology & Obstetrics/Veterinary Gynaecology & Obstetrics/Animal Physiology/Veterinary Physiology/ Animal Biotechnology/ Livestock Production Management.

For RA : Ph.D degree in any one of the following disciplines of Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Animal Biochemistry/Dairy Chemistry /Dairy Technology / Dairy Microbiology/Food Science. OR Master degree in any one of above mentioned disciplines/subject with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/Associateship/ Training /other engagements.

For Research Assistant: Masters degree in any one discipline /subject Dairy Economics/Livestock Economics /Agricultural Economics/ Economics/ Agri. Extension/Veterinary Extension/ Dairy Extension/ Agribusiness Management from a recognized University.

For Project Assistant : M.Sc. degree in any one of disciplines/subject in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Animal Nutrition /Life Science.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on performance in Interview.

Pay Scale : Rs. 40,000/- per month + HRA as applicable for Ph. D and Rs. 38000/- per for post 1, Rs. 25000/- per month + HRA for post 2, Rs. 20,000/- per month (Fixed) for post 3, Rs. 15,000/- per month(Fixed) for post 4.
