Age Limit: Candidates age limit is 35 years for Post 1, 40 years for Post 2 & 3, 18-35 years for Post 4 & 5. Age relaxation is applicable as per Central Government rules.

Pay scale : – PB-3:15,600-39,100+AGP 6000/- per month for post 1. PB-2: 9300-34800+GP 4200/-  for post 2,3. and PB-1: 5200-20000 +GP 2000/- for post 4, 5.

Educational Qualification:

(i) A Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science/ Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of library. for post 1.

(ii) Master’s Degree with 5 years of post qualification relevant experience or Bachelors Degree with 7 years relevant experience in government Departments/ Government Autonomous organizations (including educational institutions)/PSUs for post 2, 3.

(iii) Bachelor’s degree in any discipline for post 4.

(iv) Degree in Library & Info. Science for post 5.

Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates based on qualification & merit will be called for written test/ interview.
