Name of the Post: –

  1. Junior Station Operator (JSO) : – 540 posts
  2. Junior Line Man (JLM):- 1300 Posts

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years For General Merit candidates, 18 to 38 Years For category IIA, IIB, IIIA & IIIB candidates, 18 to 40 Years For SC/ST and category I candidates (Age relaxation as per Govt rules.).

Pay Scale : – Rs.7350-15710/- for post 1, Rs. 7950-16790/- for post 2.

Educational Qualification:

(i) Junior Station Operator (JSO) :  Candidates must have passed SSLC with ITI/ ITC in Electrician Trade for Apprentice (Electrician trade), SSLC with ITI/ ITC certificate in relevant trade.

(ii) Junior Line Man : – Candidates must have passed SSLC / 10th Std / SSLC / 10th standard pass with ITI.

Selection Procedure : – Selection would be based on written examination and interview conducted by Gulbarga Electricity Supply Company Limited (GESCOM).

GESCOM Application Fee :- Candidates must have to pay Application fee Rs 400/- for Junior Line Man & Rs.200/- for Junior Station Operator in respect of candidates belonging to General Category and Category-I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB. and Rs 200/- for Junior Line Man & Rs.100/- for Junior Station Operator in respect of candidates belonging to SC/ ST category. Candidates can pay the Application fee by post office payment challan in any computerized Post Office in Karnataka.
