Age limit: Candidates age should be 21 to 40 years as on 01.07.2016. Age Relaxation in age will be given to SC/ST/OBC category candidates as per Govt. rules.

Educational Qualification:

For Assistant Engineer (Trainee) (E&M) : (a) Thorough Knowledge of Hindi in Devnagari Script. If the candidate has not passed High School or equivalent examination in Hindi, he/she has to clear the an exam conducted by the Registrar, Departmental Examinations Govt. of UP, within 3 years of joining.

(b) A degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Telecommunication/Instrumentation /Electronics and Instrumentation/Electronics/Industrial/Industrial and Production Engineering from a University or Institution established by law in Uttar Pradesh or from any other institution recognized by State Government or a degree of recognized as equivalent thereto by the State Government. Or

Degree in Examination Electrical/Mechanical/Telecommunication/ Instrumentation/Electronics/ Industrial/ Industrial and Production Engineering conducted by any of the Universities in India incorporated by any act of the Central/State legislature or by UGC. Or Section “A” and “B” of the Associate Membership of the Institution of Engineers (INDIA).

For Assistant Engineer (Trainee) (Civil) : (a) Thorough Knowledge of Hindi in Devnagari Script. If the candidate has not passed High School or equivalent examination in Hindi, he/she has to clear the an exam conducted by the Registrar, Departmental Examinations Govt. of UP. within 3 years of joining.

(b) A degree in Civil Engineering from a University or Institution established by law in Uttar Pradesh or from any other institution recognized by State Government or a degree recognized as equivalent thereto by the State Government.
Or Degree Examination in Civil Engineering conducted by any of the Universities in India incorporated by any act of the Central/State legislature or by UGC. Or Section “A” and “B” of the Associate Membership of the Institution of Engineers (INDIA).

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on performance in Written Test (Computer Based Test) CBT & Interview.

Application fee : Candidates have to pay Rs.1000/- ( Rs.700/- for SC/ST) through Debit Card/Credit Card/SBI Net Banking OR Challan. PH Candidates there is no Fee.

Pay Scale : Rs. 15600-39100/- + Rs. 5400/- Grade Pay per month.
