Age limit: Candidates age should be 18 to 35 years for SC/ST, 18 to 32 years for OBC, 18 to 30 years for all other category. Age Relaxation in age will be given to SC/ST/OBC category candidates as per Govt. rules.

Educational Qualification:

For Junior Assistant: Candidates should have completed Minimum General Educational Qualification viz., Must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to College Courses of studies.

For Typist : Must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification viz., Must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to College Courses of studies. Must have passed the Government Technical Examination in Typewriting:- i) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or) ii) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/ Junior Grade in English (or) iii) by Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil.

For Steno-Typist, Grade – III : Must possess Minimum General Educational Qualification viz., Must have passed S.S.L.C Public Examination or its equivalent with eligibility for admission to Higher Secondary Courses of Studies or to College Courses of studies. Must have passed the Government Technical Examination both in Typewriting and in Shorthand:- i) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and English (or) ii) by Higher / Senior Grade in Tamil and Lower/Junior Grade in English (or) iii) by Higher / Senior Grade in English and Lower/ Junior Grade in Tamil.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on performance in Written Examination & Oral Test conducted by Tamil Nadu Public Service Commision (TNPSC).

Application fee : Candidates have to pay Rs. 75/- Candidates have to Register their basic particulars through One -Time Registration which is mandatory on payment of Rs. 50/- towards registration fee. Candidates have to pay application fee in the form of Online. SC/ST/Differently Abled Persons are exempted from the payment of application.
