Age limit: Candidates age should be not more than 55 years as on 01.04.2016. Age Relaxation in age will be given to SC/ST/OBC category candidates as per Govt. rules.

Educational Qualification:

For Paediatricians : Candidates should have completed MD in Paediatrics/ DNB in Paediatrics from a recognised institute / university or Diploma in Child Health (DCH) from a recognised institute / university. The above qualification must be registered with Bihar Medical Council or Medical Council of India. The candidates with MD in paediatrics/DNB in paediatrics would be given preference.

For Obstetricians & Gynaecology : MD in Obs. & Gynae. / MS in Obs. & Gynae / DNB in Ohs. & Gynae from a recognised institute / university. or DGO from a recognised institute / university. The above qualification must be registered with Bihar Medical Council or Medical Council of India. The candidates with MD in Obs. & Gynae. / MS in Obs. & Gynae / DNB in Obs. & Gynae would be given preference.

For Anaesthetists: MD in Anaesthesia / DNB in Anaesthesia from a recognised institute / university
Or Diploma Anaesthesia (DA) from a recognised institute / university. The above qualification must be registered with Bihar Medical Council or Medical Council of India. The candidates with MD in Anaesthesia /DNB in Anaesthesia will be given preference. More information refer to Notification.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on performance in Interview conducted by Film and Television Institute of India.

Application fee : Candidates have to pay a crossed Demand Draft of  Rs.300 for UR/OBC Category and Rs.100/- for SC/ ST/ category drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of State Health Society Bihar, payable at Patna.

How to Apply : Interested candidates may walk in interview with application in prescribed format duly filled, enclosing therewith the Demand Draft and a set of self attested photocopies of the relevant certificates in proof of qualification, age, category, experience, passport size photograph  etc.
