Age limit: Candidates age should be 40 years for post 1, 28 years for post 2, 30 years for post 3, 35 years for post 4. Age Relaxation in age will be given to SC/ST/OBC category candidates as per Govt. rules.

Educational Qualification:

For Research Associate : Candidates should have completed Ph.D degree in Plant Sciences with specialization in Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Botany/ Genetics/ Biochemistry/ Life Sciences/ Agriculture or having 3 years of research/teaching experience after M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.

For Junior Research fellow : Post Graduate Degree in Plant Sciences with specialization in Molecular Biology/ Biotechnology/ Botany/ Genetics/ Biochemistry/ Life Sciences/ Agriculture with NET qualification or Graduate Degree in Professional Course with NET qualification or Postgraduate Degree in Professional Course.

For Filed cum Laboratory Assistant: Bachelor degree in Plant Sciences or 12th Pass with 3 years of experience in working in Plant Science laboratory.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on performance in Interview conducted by National Research Centre on Plant Biotechnology (NRCPB).

Application fee : Candidates have to pay a crossed Demand Draft of Rs.200/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ ST/ Physically Handicapped/ Ex – Servicemen/ women category only) drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of Accounts Officer, Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, payable at PUNE.

  • For the post of Field cum Laboratory Assistant candidate should bring five copies of Biodata as per the attached proforma below. Walk-in interview will be held at NRCPB on 26th August 2016 from 10:30 AM onward.
  • Applicants for the post of JRF/SRF and RA should send their complete CV (Advance copy of the application may be sent by email to: [email protected] , should enclose the copy of the research publications; summary of their achievement relevant to the post applied for; and should enclose two reference letters (one must be from the person with whom worked latest).
