Age Limit:
Candidates age As per NERIST Rules.
Educational Qualification:
For Professor : Candidates should have completed Ph.D. with first class in Master’s or B.Tech Degree in the appropriate branch or equivalent with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of ten years’ experience out of which at least 05 years at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent grade in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/Industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research; and a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy Paper.
For Associate Professor : Ph.D. with first class in Master’s or B.Tech Degree in the appropriate branch or equivalent with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of eight years’ of experience of teaching and/or research in an academic/research position at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent grade in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/Industry excluding the period of Ph.D. research; and a minimum of 5 publications as books and/or research/policy Paper.
For Assistant Professor : Master’s with class or equivalent or B.Tech first class with Ph.D. in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout. For Science and Humanities Group, NET/SLET/SET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition. However, candidates, who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Interview conducted by North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology.
Pay Scale:
Rs.37400 – 67000/-AGP Rs.10000/- for post 1, Rs.37400 – 67000/-AGP Rs.9000/- for post 2, Rs.15600 – 39100/-AGP Rs.6000/- for post 3.
Application Fee:
Candidates have to pay Rs.500/-(SC/ST candidates are exempted) in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director, NERIST and payable at SBI Nirjuli (Code No.9535) Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh.
