Name of the Posts: Inspector

Age limit: Candidates age should be not more than 56 years as on 21.09.2016. Age Relaxation in age will be given to SC/ST/OBC category candidates as per Govt. rules.

Eligibility Conditions :

  • Officers from any State/Union Territory Police Force or Central Government Departments and passed the Finger Print Experts Examination conducted by All India Board of Finger Print Experts.
  • Holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department or
  • Officers of the rank of Sub-Inspector of Police or of equivalent rank in the Pay Band 2 Rs.9300- 34800 plus Grade Pay of Its.4200/- with five years regular service in the grade including two years experience in Finger Print Analysis.

Pay Scale: Rs.9300/- -Rs.34800/- With Grade Pay Rs.4600/- per month.

Pay Scale: PB-2: Rs. 9300-34800/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 4600/ plus Special Allowance Rs.800/- per month.
