About KVK Barmer: 

The Krishi Vigyan Kendra is a district level farm science center established by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi at Barmer district of Rajasthan for speedy transfer of technology to the farmers’ fields.

Age limit:

Candidates age limit should be 47 years for Post 01 & 35 years for Post 02 as on closing date for receipt of application. Age relaxation is applicable to SC/ ST/ PH/ OBC candidates.

Educational Qualification:

For Senior Scientist & Head : (a) For Disciplines other than Engineering subject Doctoral degree in relevant subject including relevant basic sci-ences with 08 years experience in the relevant subject as Scientist/ Lecturer/Extension specialist. (b) For Engineering Disciplines: Doctoral degree in relevant engineering subject with 06 years’ experience as Scientist/Lecturer/Extension specialist.

For Scientist Animal Husbandry : Master Degree in the relevant subject.

Selection Process of recruitment :
Selection will be made on the basis of Interview.
