Indira Gandhi Medical College is affiliated to Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. IGMR funded project titled “Prevention & Control of Diseases-Development of Tools to prevent Outbreaks of Epidemic” purely on contractual basis for a period of one year and further extendable to 3 years on year to year basis (based on appraisal) or completion/winding-up of the Pmjcet, whichever is earlier, for which applications along with testimonials are required to be submitted to the undersigned on or before 29th December. 2016. Age limit:

The age limit is 18 to 45 years but the project related to Radiotherapy Department, the age limit is 18 to 30 for the post of Social worker and 18 to 28 for the imst of Data Entry Operator. Relaxation will be given to reserved category candidates under the rules applicable.

Educational Qualification:

For Lab Technican : 12th with Science Subject from recognized board with two year diploma in relevant discipline or B.Sc from recognized university.

For Data Entry Operator : Graduation from any recognized University (With good command over spoken and written grammatical English) With knowledge of Data Entry Operator. One Year Diploma in Computer Application from any recognized University/Institute.

For Social Worker : Master Degree in Rural Development/ Social Work/Sociology from recognized university/institutions.

For Field Worker : Graduation in Science subjects from any recognized University Institute.

Selection Process of recruitment :
Selection will be made on the basis of Interview / written test.
