About DIT Manipur : 

The Department of Information Technology, Government of Manipur was bifurcated from the erstwhile Department of Science & Technology and Information Technology, Government of Manipur during September, 2009. The IT Department is responsible for? implementing all IT related Project/Schemes, including e-Governance in the State.

Age limit:

Age of the candidate shall not be less than 21 years and not more than 38 years on the last date of the submission of form. Upper age limit relaxable by 3 years for OBC 5 years, for SC/ST.

Educational Qualification:

For Deputy Director : B.E./B.Tech (Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics, Information Technology)/MCA with Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Postgraduate Diploma in Management. 7 years working experience in IT sector.

For Informatics Officer: B.E./B.Tech (Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics, Information Technology)/MCA/ Msc (IT & Computer Sc,) Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT Sector.

For Office Assistant : Class X with minimum 6 (six) months Diploma/Certificate in Computer Applications.

For Driver : Middle School Certificate, possessing Light Motor Vehicle Driving Licence, Minimum 3 years’ experience In driving.

For Grade -IV : Class X Pased.

Selection will be made on the basis of Interview.
