About Department of Agriculture Mizoram : 

The Agriculture Department in Mizoram functioned as a MI fledged directorate since the inception of UT in 1972. At present the department has eight agriculture districts, 13 agriculture sub division and 57 no’s of agriculture circle across the state. Recently the Department of Agriculture has published Technical, Office, Field Asst, Computer Programmer Recruitment advertisement against 09 Vacancies in Department of Agriculture govt departments.

Age limit:

35 years for post 1, 25 years for post 2 (as on 08.11.2016) and 5 years relaxable for SC/SPOBC/ Person with disability (PwD) and for women candidates.

Educational Qualification:

For Technical Assistant : PGraduate/Post Graduate in Agriculture & Allied Sector from a recognized University. Candidate must have a working knowledge of Mizo language upto Middle School standard

For Accountant cum Marketing Officer : Graduate in Commerce/Business Administration from a recognized University.

Computer Programmer : B.Tech/MCA from a recognized Institution.

Field Assistant : HSSLC /BAT passed from a recognized Institution.

Selection Process of recruitment :
Selection will be made on the basis of Interview / written test.
