Age limit: Candidates age should be not more than 56 years. Age Relaxation in age will be given to SC/ST/OBC category candidates as per Govt. rules.

Educational Qualification:

For Deputy Director : Officers in the Central Government,  holding analogous posts on regular basis or in the pay band-3 Rs. 15,600-39,100/- plus grade pay of Rs. 7600/- with five years regular service in the grade in Civilian Organisation; or possessing two years experience of working in Intelligence or Police or Army set up including experience in establishment and administration.

For Assistant Director : Master’s Degree in Science in Physics or Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Science or Computer Applications or Geology or Geography or Remote Sensing or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in Computer Science or Electronics or Communications or Electrical or Civil or Mechanical or Remote, Sensing (ii) Institutionalised training and five years experience in Remote Sensing.
