Age limit:

Candidates should not be below 18 years and above 37 years of age as on 01.01.2016. The upper age limit is relax-able up to 45 years for all State/Central Government employees and 5 years for Scheduled Caste/Backward Classes of Punjab.

Educational Qualification:

  1. Should have Passed the Senior Secondary part-II Examination with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology ) or its equivalent form a recognized university or Institution and Should Possess a diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology of two years form  a recognized university or Institution. OR
  2. Should Possess a diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology of three years form  a recognized university or Institution after passing Matriculation Examination with Science followed by one year work experience after Diploma. OR
  3. Should Possess a Degree of B.Sc. (Medical Laboratory Technology) form  a recognized university or Institution.

Selection Process of recruitment :
Selection will be made on the basis of written test.

Age limit: Candidates age should be as per govt rules. Age Relaxation in age will be given to SC/ST/OBC category candidates as per Govt. rules.

Educational Qualification:

For Medical Officer : Candidates should have completed MBBS, Registered with the Punjab Medical Council or with other duly constituted medical council in india. Knowledge of punjabi language upto Matriculation standard.

For Staff Nurse :

  • Should have passed matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language, which may be specified by the Government from time to time.
  • Should have passed Senior Secondary Part-II Examination or its equivalent from a recognized University or institution.
  • Should possess a diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized University or institution and
  • Should be registered with the Punjab Nursing Registration Council established under the Punjab Nurses Registration Act, 1932 (Punjab Act No. I of 1932) which may be amended from time to time.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on performance in Written Test and Interview conducted by Baba Farid Das University of Health Sciences.

Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100+GP 5400 for medical officer, Rs.10300-34800+GP 4600 for Staff Nurse.
