Age Limit:
Candidates age should be 60 years as on 18-08-2016. Age relaxation is admissible for SC, ST & Other categories candidates as per govt rules.
Educational Qualification:
For Deputy Director General (Natural Resource Management) : Candidates should have completed Doctoral degree in Soil Sciences/Agronomy/Agroforestry/Land & Water Management Engineering.
For Deputy Director General (Horticulture Science): Doctoral degree in any branch of Agricultural Sciences or in basic sciences with specialization in biotechnology, genetics, breeding, molecular biology related to plants /crops.
For Director : Doctoral degree in Agricultural Sciences, Management/Economics/Statistics with specialization in agricultural related subjects.
For Project Coordinator (Agro-Meteorology) : Doctoral degree in Agricultural Meteorology/Meteorology with specialization in Agricultural Meteorology/Agricultural Physics with specialization in Agricultural Meteorology.
For Head : Doctoral degree in any branch of Agricultural Sciences or in basic sciences with specialization in biotechnology, genetics, breeding, molecular biology related to plants/crops.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Interview conducted by Agriculture Scientists Recruitment Board, New Delhi.
Application Fee : Candidates have to pay Rs. 500/- drawn in favour of SECRETARY,ASRB payable at New Delhi (India). SC/ST/Women/Physically Handicapped (PH) applicants/candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
Pay Scale :
- Rs.37,400-67,000 with grade pay of Rs.10,000/- for all post.
