Age limit: Candidates age should be 18 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years as on 1st July, 2016 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1986 and not later than 1st July, 1998 for (AP Candidates) and other candidates 18 years and must not have attained the age of 22 years as on 1st July, 2016. Age Relaxation in age will be given to SC/ST/OBC category candidates as per Govt. rules.

Educational Qualification for AP Police:

The candidate must hold, as on 1st July, 2016, SSC and must possess Industrial Training Institutional Certificate in Electronic Mechanic OR Information Technology and Electronic System Maintenance OR Computer Operator and Programming Assistant OR Mechanic Consumer Electronics OR Electrician. OR Two years Intermediate course with MPC OR vocational Intermediate in a) EET (Electronic Engineering Technician) b) Electrical Technician (ET), (old name Electrical Wiring and servicing of Electrical applications (E.W&SEA)) after SSC.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on performance in Preliminary Selection Test, Physical Measurements Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Examination.

Application fee : The prescribed fee for candidate belonging to OCs/BCs is Rs. 300/- (Rupees three hundred only), and for candidates belonging to SCs/STs is Rs. 150/- (One Hundred Fifty only) towards Applications Processing and Examination.

Pay Scale : Rs. 16,400 – 49,870/- per month.

Age limit:

Candidates age should be 18 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years as on 1st July, 2016 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1986 and not later than 1st July, 1998. All other candidates 18 years and must not have attained the age of 22 years as on 1st July, 2016 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1994 and not later than 1st July, 1998. Upto a maximum of five years if a candidate belongs to a Backward Class or a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe.

Educational Qualification:

For Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Police Constables (Mechanics) (Men): The candidate must as on 1st July, 2016, have passed SSC or any other examination recognized by the State Government as being equivalent to SSC and must possess an Industrial Training institutional Certificate in Wiremen OR Mechanic Motor Vehicle OR Mechanic Diesel OR Fitter.

For Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Police Constables (Drivers) (Men) : The candidate must as on 1st July, 2016, have passed Intermediate examination or any other examination recognized as its equivalent by the State Board of Intermediate Education or SSC pass.

Selection Process of recruitment :

Selection will be made on the basis of preliminary selection test, Physical Measurements Test (PMT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), trade test & final written examination.
